Welcome, James Murphy, Regional Sales Manager – W/SW

West & Southwest U.S. & Canada Regional Manager

Cyl-Tec is pleased to announce James (Jim) Murphy has accepted the position of Regional Sales Manager for West/Southwest U.S. & Canada, effective May 18, 2020. He will be working closely with Greg Adamson, our current manager of the region, until Greg’s retirement on August 31, 2020. This position reports directly to Thomas Bennett, President of Cyl-Tec.

Jim will be the key sales contact for the West/Southwest U.S, & Canada Region with major responsibilities in customer development & service, product line knowledge, client training, and new business development.

Jim graduated from The University of Toledo in Toledo, Ohio with a dual degree in Professional Sales and Marketing. Prior to accepting this position, served as an Account Manager at Airgas (an Air L’iquide company), and NUCO2 (a Praxair company).

Jim brings years of experience and a professional track record of success in the industrial gas industry area, which will be invaluable in supporting established relationships with Cyl-Tec customers, as well as developing new ones.

Jim is very excited to join Cyl-Tec and will contribute greatly to the sales team by driving sales with new and existing customers, creating mutually beneficial relationships with our current client base, and strategizing on market changes with his colleagues. On a personal level, Jim really enjoys time with his family, the outdoors, and sports.
