Aluminum Industrial Cylinders
Well suited for standard use & specialty gas applications, aluminum industrial cylinders are lighter weight, corrosion-resistant, and non-magnetic.
Cyl-Tec’s aluminum industrial cylinders are made of high-strength alloy 6061-T6 and are manufactured to DOT-3AL and TC-3ALM specifications. Due to its lighter weight, aluminum is a perfect choice for any weight-sensitive application.

PermaProtect® Pre-Treatment System for Specialty Gas Mixtures

Cyl-Tec’s specialty gas pre-treatment system – called PermaProtect® – is a proprietary process especially developed for aluminum industrial cylinders that provides prevention of contamination for calibration gas mixtures.
PermaProtect® also provides long-term stability. The internal surface of the aluminum cylinder goes through a special process during manufacturing. First, the inside walls are polished to a mirror-like finish, then proprietary treatments are applied to the highly polished internal surface to protect from contamination and ensure constant purity.
Available for our most popular aluminum cylinder sizes: N-33, N-150, and N-265.
